Welcome to the 2015-2016 school year! I am proud to be serving you as principal of Carpentersville Middle School. I have had the opportunity to work in the district for seven years (five as the assistant principal of Carpentersville Middle School and two years as principal of Lakewood School). I received my bachelor degree from Northern Illinois University in Special Education and my Master’s Degree from Northeastern Illinois University in Educational Leadership. I have recently received my Doctoral Degree from Argosy University. I am the proud parent of three children of my own who also attend D300 schools.
Our school serves several communities in District 300 and we are the only school to host both 7thand 8th grade. The faculty of CMS are dedicated to getting to know your child and to making connections with them to make school a safe and productive place to learn. Our energy is focused on student growth and achievement.
Our staff strongly believes that communication is vital to success as evidenced by the detailed information provided on our website. The IC Parent Portal, Parent Link App, and email/voicemail blasts are also great communication devices we encourage all families to access. Please never hesitate to contact a teacher with questions or concerns using the staff listing below. You may also contact any administrator or counselor via email or by calling the main office.
On behalf of the faculty and staff, I would like to thank the parents and community members that are always so supportive of our school's academic and extra-curricular programming. In partnership with each other, every student at CMS will feel success and continue to grow.
